Agreement to Terms - Last Updated: 2025

By accessing www.darfsdc.org, the DARF Community forum, or any related services (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. DARF reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time; continued use constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, discontinue use immediately.

About DARF

DARF (Drug Addiction Rehabilitation Fortress) is an independent organisation combating drug addiction through education, rehabilitation, and community support. DARF operates as the second arm of the SMART COMMISSION (Sustainable Development Commission), guided by the motto: Partnership, Leadership and Change.

Services Provided

Prevention. School & community education programmes.
Treatment. Residential (6-24 months), outpatient, detox & therapy.
Crisis. 24/7 emergency & overdose response.
Recovery. Vocational training, housing & aftercare.
Family. Counselling & support for affected families.
Youth. Early intervention for at-risk youth.
Community Forum. Peer-led online support space.

Eligibility

Services are intended for individuals 13 years or older, or minors with verified parental/guardian consent. By using the Services, you warrant that you meet this requirement. Youth-specific programmes (Youth Garrison) require guardian consent prior to enrolment.

Community Guidelines

Users of the DARF Community must not:

Promote or facilitate illicit substance use
Engage in harassment, hate speech, or threats
Share others' personal data without consent
Distribute false medical advice or unverified claims
Impersonate staff, professionals, or other users
Upload spam, malware, or promotional material

DARF may remove content and suspend access for violations without prior notice.

Privacy & Data Protection

DARF collects only data necessary for service delivery. All health and treatment records are strictly confidential. We do not sell, rent, or share personal information with third parties except as required by law. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

Volunteers & Partnerships

Volunteers and partners must complete all onboarding requirements (including any MoU and Guidelines), uphold DARF's core values of Service, Impact, Innovation, Equity, and Honesty, maintain strict confidentiality, and undergo required background checks. DARF may terminate arrangements inconsistent with its mission.

Donations

All donations are voluntary, non-refundable, and used to support DARF's programmes and operations. DARF does not guarantee allocation to specific programmes unless agreed in writing. In keeping with our commitment to radical transparency, financial outcomes remain open for scrutiny.

Intellectual Property

All content, text, graphics, logos, trademarks, and software, is the property of SMART COMMISSION under the DARF Organization protected by applicable law. Reproduction, distribution, or derivative use is prohibited without prior written permission, except for personal, non-commercial reference.

Disclaimers, Liability & Legal

Third-Party Content. DARF assumes no liability for the availability, accuracy, or content of external websites linked from our Services. Access third-party sites at your own risk.

Medical Disclaimer. Information provided through DARF is for general awareness only and does not constitute medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional. In emergencies, contact local emergency services immediately. Individual recovery outcomes may vary.

Governing Law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Guinea. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Conakry. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force.
